  • 2022-02-03 : IPPB Slashes Interest Rates On Savings Accounts
    India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has reduced interest rates by 25 basis points on savings accounts. As a result, the rate for balances up to Rs 1 lakh will be 2.25 per cent, and for balances exceeding Rs 1 lakh but less than Rs 2 lakh, the rate will be 2.50 per cent.
  • 2022-01-20 : India Post Payments Bank Customer Base Crosses 5-crore Mark
    India Post Payments Bank has crossed the 5-crore customer mark, making it the third-largest entity in the segment after Paytm and Airtel Payments Bank. IPPB opened these five crore accounts in digital and paperless mode.
  • 2020-11-25 : Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana by India Post Payments Bank
    IPPB announced the introduction of PMJJBY to its customers in collaboration with PNB MetLife India Insurance Company. It is available as an alternative for all individuals with an IPPB savings account between 18 to 50 yrs. The maximum maturity age is 55 years.
