Delhi Development Authority to launch DDA flat scheme 2017 for around 13,148 Janta, LIG, MIG and HIG flats on 30th June 2017.
The flats in the scheme are located in prime areas of Delhi like Bindapur, Dwarka, Dilshad Garden, Jahangirpuri, Jasola, Loknayak Puram, Mukherjee Nagar, Narela, Pitampura, Paschim Vihar, Rohini, Sarita Vihar, and Sukhdev Vihar.

Key Features of Flats Offered Under DDA Scheme 2017

  • All flats under the scheme are ready for occupation with infrastructure and amenities like roads, water supply, electricity and sewerage
  • Flats are located in developed areas such as Dwarka, Dilshad Garden, Jahangirpuri, Jasola, Loknayak Puram, Mukherjee Nagar, Narela, Pitampura, Paschim Vihar, Rohini, Sarita Vihar, and Sukhdev Vihar
  • Flats returned by allottees in DDA scheme 2014 have been included in this scheme but DDA claims to have completed the incomplete work in these flats
  • Since many allottees of last DDA scheme 2014 had surrendered their flats due to small size, this time, DDA has provided a facility for inspection of flats to ensure beforehand
  • Flats would be offered on a freehold basis and there is no restriction on transfer of flats after conveyance from DDA
  • Allottees and flats that are eligible for interest subsidy under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) can avail of interest subsidy up to Rs. 2.35 lakhs.   • The facility of online flat booking through banks which will provide payment gateway for refund and payment
  • Cancelation of booking allowed before the date of draw without any penalty. However, successful applicants will lose their entire money if they surrender flat after allotment
  • DDA has removed the lock-in period clause.
  • If any home buyer surrenders his application before the date of the draw then no amount will be deducted from his registration fee but if he does after the draw and before the issue of demand letter then 25% of the registration fee will be deducted.
  • If the house is surrendered within 90 days of the issue of demand letter then a 50% registration amount will be deducted and beyond this time limit, the entire amount will not be refunded.

Eligibility criteria for DDA scheme

  • Any Indian citizen of 18 years or above can apply for DDA flats scheme 2017
  • Applicant must not own a flat or any other residential property in Delhi in his own name/ spouse/ dependent child name
  • Both husband and wife can apply individually for under the scheme but in case both are successful, only one allotment can be retained
  • Only one application is accepted per applicant

  • Registration fee as per flats requirement

How to apply for DDA housing scheme 2017 – online and offline

Individuals can apply for the flats through two modes:

  • Offline mode: The authority has tied-up with some banks for its new housing scheme. Individuals can buy the application booklet from the DDA sales counter or from the under-listed banks:

    • Kotak Mahindra bank
    • State bank of India
    • Central bank
    • HDFC bank
    • Canara bank
    • ICICI bank
  • Online mode: Individuals can apply online through the official website of DDA or can go to the official site of the above-listed banks and can apply there for the DDA housing scheme.

  • Now click on ‘DDA Aawasiya Yojana 2017’
  • The online application form will open up
  • Then, fill all the required details and attach the documents
  • Finally, submit the application form
  • Take the printout of the submitted form
