DDA Housing Scheme

Delhi Development Authority has launched DDA flat scheme 2021 for 1354 flats in Dwarka, Vasant Kunj, Rohini, Paschim Vihar and Jasola. Out of these 1354 DDA flats, 252 3BHK and two 2BHK flats are on sale under Higher Income Group (HIG) category, 757 under Middle Income Group (MIG) category, 52 Lower Income Group (LIG) flats and 291 EWS/ Janta flats.

The application for DDA Housing Scheme can be submitted until February 16, 2021. The registration process will be done online through the AWAAS software and the scheme is also linked to the credit-linked subsidy scheme under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Housing for All (Urban). This time an applicant can also choose the kind of flat they want in society by paying some extra charges ‘preferential location charges’ (PLC), which will be 1.5%- 3% of the total cost of the flat.

The date of the draw is to be announced and the money will be refunded into applicants bank account after 30 days of the lottery draw if he/she does not get a chance to have a flat.

DDA Online Application

The online application process of DDA is as follows:

  • Visit the DDA website
  • Click on DDA Housing Scheme
  • A new page will open up where you are required to submit details like PAN, Aadhar card number, mobile number
  • An OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to the mobile number
  • Enter the OTP
  • Login to DDA website using your PAN number and every time you log in an OTP will be sent to your mobile number
  • Select the scheme and unit type
  • Make the payment using NEFT/RTGS or net banking (remember credit cards and debit cards are not accepted)

Who Is Eligible For DDA 2022?

Before you apply for the DDA housing scheme, you must check whether you are eligible for it or not.

  • The applicant or person applying for the flat under DDA scheme should be an Indian citizen.
  • Next essential criteria is that the applicant should be the age of 18 or above.

  • The applicant’s share in a jointly owned property should be less than 66.9 meters.
