Eligibility criteria for affordable housing

  • Applicant should be an Indian resident.
  • Applicant should be between 18 to 70 years of age.
  • Any individual who does not own any plot/house/apartment in any colony of HUDA area will be given first preference for buying home under this scheme.
  • Successful applicant under this policy is not eligible for allotment of any other flat in other colony. In case, he/she is successful in more than one colony, he/she will have to choose only one flat and all such applicants are required to submit an affidavit to this effect.

Allotment criteria and rates

  • The housing units will be allotted through draw of lots handled by the deputy commissioner of district in which project is located.
  • 5% of the total number of approved flats in the building plan will be allotted by a licensee to its employees, associates etc. The allotment procedure of such flats will also be completed along with the draw of flats of general category.
  • The possession will be offered within four years from the date of approval of building plan.

The allotment rates for the affordable housing scheme

C Low potential towns Rs. 3,000/- per sq. ft. Rs. 500 per sq ft against all balcony area in a flat adding up to and limited to 100 sq ft, as permitted in the approved building plans.

Payment schedule

Waiting list and non successful applicants

  • Almost 25% of the total number of flats is kept for waiting list people.
  • If any applicant fails to obtain any of the required documents or fulfill any other requirement within a period of 15 days then his flat will be allotted to the waiting list candidates.
  • The waiting list is maintained for 2 years.
  • In case of surrender of flat by any successful applicant amount of Rs. 25,000 may be deducted by the colonizer.
  • If any waiting list applicant wants to withdraw then he can and his booking amount will be refunded within 30 days.
  • Amount of non successful candidates will be refunded back in 15 days.

Terms & Conditions

  • Payment to be done in the form of cheque or demand draft.
  • Stamp duty, legal expenses, registration charges and miscellaneous charges required to be paid by the applicant at time of registration of the sale deed.
  • The predefined size of the apartment is 28 sq. meter to 60 sq. meter and possession time is four years.
