UAN or Universal Account Number is a unique 12-digit number allotted to every member of Employee Provident (EPF) for his/her EPF account. With a UAN number, employees can easily access information about their funds in the EPF accounts with former and current employers along with various other services like transferring funds from one PF account to another, view and manage EPF passbook, track claim status etc.

  • Finally, enter OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on Validate OTP and Activate UAN.

  • Next, enter details and click `Get Authorization Pin`.
  • Finally, get an OTP and click to agree to the terms and conditions.

  • Umang App
  • Biometric credentials on e-KYC Portal
  • OTP verification on e-KYC Portal of EPFO to link Aadhar.

What to do if two UANs get allotted?

Every employee has a unique UAN, and in case you are allotted two UAN, the same must be reported to EPFO. After successful verification, the old UAN will be blocked.
