Baroda Master Platinum Debit Card is a Mastercard card and is amongst the various customer-oriented and beneficial debit cards offered by Bank of Baroda. The card can be attained from the bank through both offline and online mediums such as net banking, written application or by contacting the bank’s customer care. It can be used to withdraw cash, for balance enquires, to deposit funds and for making online and offline payments.

How does Baroda Master Platinum Debit Card Works?
Baroda Master Platinum Debit Card can be used both offline and online for a different purpose. For offline payments, the card can be used through a card machine. The debit card works offline as and when the merchant inputs the transaction amount on the card machine. After this, the card user is required to enter the debit card PIN to complete the transaction. As the PIN is entered, a request is made to the bank as per which the required amount is deducted from the account linked to the debit card.
In addition to that, Baroda Master Platinum Debit Card also works online. This requires one to enter details like the 16 digit the card number, expiry date, and the three-digit CVV number-mentioned don the reverse of the card. As and when the details are entered, an OTP is sent to the registered mobile number of the debit card user. The OTP needs to be entered for completion of the transaction after which the amount is deducted from the linked current or savings account.
