2017-06-29 :Linking of Aadhaar with PAN must from July 1, notifies government
The government has notified that the linking of existing Aadhaar numbers with the permanent account number (PAN) of taxpayers has been made mandatory by the government with effect from 1st July, 2017 after the announcement of amendment to tax proposals in the Finance Bill for 2017-18. According to the new rule, if anyone who has a PAN card must provide their Aadhaar number to the principal director general of income tax or DGIT (systems). However, if the individual who has yet not linked their Aadhaar number with PAN number, they can easily do so by using the e-facility launched by the income tax department.

2017-06-29 :UCO Bank plans to raise the capital of Rs. 3,000 crore this financial year
Public sector lender, UCO Bank is planning to raise the capital of Rs. 3,000 crore this financial year. The capital of Rs. 3,000 crore will be raised from the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), while the bank is also looking for some other fund raising options like follow on issue or QIP. The bank has reported that the freshly raised fund will be used against supporting its credit growth and extending its business opportunities in the subsequent years.
2017-06-29 :UP housing board to give subsidies in home loan interest under PMAY
In a bid to provide affordable housing to maximum people in the state, UP housing and development board has announced to give subsidies in home loan interest under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). The board has decided to extend this offer under Credit Link Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) in which people of different income groups will be given subsidies in the interest rate of home loans. Under the scheme, the individuals belonging to economically weaker sections and lower income group can avail a subsidy of 6.5 per cent on home loan and individuals belonging to the middle income group can avail the discount of 4 per cent under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
