Aadhaar Driving Licence

An Aadhar card and driving license are two crucial documents issued in India by the government of India. Driving license is issued by Regional Transport Office which comes under the Ministry of Road Transport, and Highways and Aadhar is issued by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) on behalf of India's government. Both the documents have an essential role, aadhar card is mandatory for every Indian citizen, and a driving license is necessary if a person wishes to drive an automotive vehicle on India's road. Government has suggested linking Aadhar to driving licence. This initiative has been started to ensure that each individual owns only one driving license. As per the Government, a person can have only one license, but there have been cases where a person had more than one driving license registered under his or her name. This however is not feasible, and thus linking driving license with aadhar has become mandatory.
