UIDAI Headquarters

UIDAI has its headquarter in New Delhi. The UIDAI headquarter has a Director-General, and the post is currently assigned to Dr A.B.P Pandey, who is also the acting Chairman of UIDAI. He is assisted by seven Deputy Director General (DDG) who are in charge of various departments. The maximum sanctioned strength of UIDAI headquarter is 146, including officers such as Deputy Directors, Section Officers, Assistants, etc. as well as the staff of Accounts and IT branches.

All the officers and the staff are appointed either by the Central Staffing Scheme or through a bilateral route. Aadhaar Related Grievance Redressal

UIDAI provides a smooth grievance redressal service through a number of channels where you can file your complaints and seek redressal. It can be done either by post, via email or through contacting UIDAI on the Aadhar card customer care number. Below are the three grievance redressal methods.

  • By Post Grievances can be sent to UIDAI via post by writing a letter to any of the UIDAI regional offices or headquarters. The Deputy Director examines the issues. After he approves it, it is sent to the respective Regional Office or Concerned Section. The complaint is then resolved online by the Concerned Section or Regional Office. If needed, they will give interim replies for better communication to redress the grievance faster.
